High: I attended a conference or better to say a festival about digital society and digitization called re:publica in Berlin (formally known as blogger conference, or as we say: Class reunion of the digital elite). It was warm, I could sit at the beach of the location (it’s called “Arena” and “Festsaal Kreuzberg” and the beach is between them), watching people swimming in the bathing ship next to it. Low: I enjoyed meeting people again after all the time, especially outside where the chance to get infected was quite low. But I did not have enough time to work too much.
High: It’s definitely cool to learn new stuff, to get input on the climate crisis, digitization processes in Germany and globally, and so much more – but was it only for my personal development or work-related? Low: I felt very bad about maintaining my network and further education, but it might be helpful in the future.
Do you have sometimes conflicts you can’t really solve? How do you proceed?
